STO Building Group is seeking a Vice President of Life Sciences to oversee the life sciences business and multiple project teams, ensuring alignment with growth goals and project outcomes. The role requires strategic leadership, senior-level client relations, and proven delivery of R&D and cGMP projects.

The VP will mentor project managers, guide financial performance, and coordinate with support staff to maintain excellence in field operations and risk mitigation across all Life Sciences

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in life sciences R&D and cGMP construction.
• Experience delivering large, complex projects concurrently.
• Strong understanding of construction financials, risk management, and strategic planning.
• Ability to recruit top life sciences talent and drive business development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain executive-level relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Drive life sciences growth through talent, BD, and seamless project execution.
• Lead fiscal planning, goal setting, and strategic direction for the BU.
• Oversee project cost projections and BU profitability.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Provide executive oversight on scheduling, procurement, staffing, and financial tracking.
• Support R&D and cGMP project managers and field leadership.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure policy and operational alignment.
• Act as a primary contact for high-level issue resolution and risk mitigation.
