Apex Credit Partners LLC in New York is looking for a Vice President‑level analyst to join our team and lead underwriting of leveraged loan transactions. You will monitor exposures across key industries and support senior analysts on complex credit analyses.

You will analyze primary and secondary market opportunities, perform due diligence, and prepare underwriting memos for credit committee approval, while delivering timely quarterly performance insights and supporting training of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in bank loan underwriting and credit analysis.
• Strong modeling and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Experience analyzing CIMs, credit agreements, and term sheets.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite primary transactions and monitor exposures across industries.
• Analyze primary and secondary market opportunities.
• Prepare underwriting memos for credit committee approval.
• Provide quarterly analysis of financial and operating performance.
• Develop amendment, waiver, and consent requests; make buy/hold/sell recommendations.
