Job summary

Forbright Bank in Chevy Chase, MD seeks a Vice President to grow the Structured Finance practice. You will analyze, structure, and close asset-based loans for Lender Finance and Fund Finance, while managing borrower relationships post-close.

You may lead deals with Directors or Managing Directors and coordinate closings with operations. This role is 4 days per week in-office at our Chevy Chase, MD headquarters, with opportunities to drive client-focused financing strategies and build a

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 8 years minimum of financial services, investment banking, or lending experience.
• 1 year in a managerial role preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including financial modeling in lender/structured finance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with sponsors and borrowers to develop understanding of a company.
• Review confidential materials and investor presentations.
• Evaluate senior financing requests for credit quality and loan structures.
• Lead due diligence with a Managing Director.
• Create investment theses and present recommendations to the Director/MD.
• Construct and maintain detailed financial models and memos.
