Forbright Bank is seeking a Vice President to build and lead the Structured Finance practice in our Chevy Chase, MD headquarters. The role focuses on analyzing, structuring, and closing asset‑based loans for Lender Finance and Fund Finance strategies, with post‑close relationship management and potential to lead deals alongside senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in financial services, investment banking or lending.
• 5–6 years of Fund/Lender Finance experience strongly preferred.
• 1 year in a managerial role preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate, structure, and close asset-based loans for Lender Finance and Fund Finance strategies.
• Monitor borrower relationships post-close.
• Lead deals with a Director or Managing Director.
• Review confidential materials and assess credit quality and loan structures.
• Develop investment theses and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Create detailed financial models and draft internal memoranda and term sheets.
• Support origination activities to close new transactions.
• Coordinate closings with operations and maintain relationships with borrowers.
