Job summary

Boingo is seeking a VP, Information Technology & Security to unify corporate IT operations and security under one executive function within Engineering. This senior leader will drive reliable IT services, risk management, and security governance across enterprise and venue security initiatives.

The role partners with Legal, HR, Finance and Product to align policy, controls, and technology strategy with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in information technology, information security, or infrastructure leadership, with 8+ years in people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Operations & corporate technology, including managing the corporate technology stack and automation initiatives.
• Provide executive leadership over Information Security, including GRC and Cybersecurity functions.
• Oversee venue security product and network security alignment with security capabilities across airports, transit systems, and large-scale environments.
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing leadership team across IT and Security.
• Define annual IT & Security strategy, roadmap, and budget in alignment with Engineering and company objectives.
