Job summary

Boingo Wireless seeks a senior technology leader to unify corporate IT operations and information security under one executive function within Engineering. This role directs IT, security, and governance across enterprise and venue environments, including airports, transit hubs, stadiums, and military bases.

You will shape the strategy, build automation, and lead a high‑performing team to scale security products and services while maintaining compliance with NIST and SOC 2.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in information technology or infrastructure leadership with 8+ years in people management and 5+ years at director level or above.
• Deep knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks, GRC program operation, and SOC 2 audit readiness.
• Experience leading multi‑platform enterprise environments and partnering with product, engineering, and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership over IT Operations and Corporate Technology.
• Own and mature Boingo's GRC program and ensure audit readiness.
• Lead venue security product and network security initiatives across large-scale environments.
• Unify IT operations and security into a single control plane for identity and devices.
• Represent IT & Security in executive forums and cross‑functional governance.
