Job summary

Phyton Talent Advisors is seeking a VP in FP&A focused on IT expense management, cost allocation, and financial reporting. The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days in the Midtown Manhattan office, and involves partnering with IT leaders to drive cost transparency and budget accuracy.

Responsibilities include overseeing intercompany cost-sharing, refining allocation models, and delivering recurring IT spend reporting.

Qualifications

• IT FP&A experience in financial services is required.
• Strong analytics and ability to influence budgeting and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A for IT leadership with expense management and cost transparency.
• Enhance budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee intercompany cost-sharing and internal service agreements.
• Analyze allocation methods and financial models to validate accuracy and impacts on budgets.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and reconcile allocated expenses in systems.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc IT spending reports for visibility and control.
• Refine chargeback methodologies to improve data integrity and alignment with plans.
• Partner with IT service owners to set performance standards and regulatory alignment.
• Monitor service levels and remediation of allocation or compliance issues.
• Maintain service agreements documentation and timely updates.
