Job summary

Avenzo Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a strategic Vice President of Information Technology to lead enterprise IT strategy at our San Diego headquarters.

This senior role partners with the CEO, CFO and executive team to enable clinical and operational excellence, regulatory compliance and scalable growth. The VP IT will govern cybersecurity, data analytics, SOX controls, and technology risk while building a high-performing team, managing budgets, and delivering technology that supports GxP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related area.
• Executive leadership experience in biotech, pharma, life sciences or a regulated environment.
• Experience developing and executing enterprise technology strategies for private and public companies.
• Experience supporting clinical operations, regulatory, finance and legal systems.
• Strong understanding of GxP environments, data integrity and technology controls.
• Knowledge of AI, data platforms, system integration and regulated tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise IT strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Advise CEO, CFO and leadership; align IT with business priorities.
• Maintain IT governance, cybersecurity, privacy and risk management.
• Lead AI governance, data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure SOX controls are designed, tested and remediated.
• Oversee Facilities strategy and operations and IT budgets.
