Job summary

Olema Oncology in San Francisco is seeking a strategic Vice President of Information Technology to lead global IT strategy, security, and operations as we accelerate our US product launch readiness. You will set enterprise IT architecture, drive AI-enabled capabilities, and ensure regulatory compliance across SOX and GxP in a fast-paced oncology environment.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of biotechnology and pharmaceutical processes from development through commercialization.
Experience leading IT for a United States pharmaceutical product launch.
Expertise in Microsoft/O365, cloud and SaaS platforms, data, cybersecurity, service management, and AI.
Knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, SOX, privacy, data integrity, and vendor risk management.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Define and execute a multi-year enterprise IT strategy and roadmap aligned with R&D, commercial, and corporate goals.
Oversee IT operations, cloud services, networks, IAM, end-user computing, and service desk.
Lead cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance across SOX, GxP, and privacy regimes.
Drive AI initiatives with governance, risk controls, and measurable business outcomes.
Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure SOX controls, vendor management, and budget adherence.
Prepare IT readiness for regulatory inspections and product launches in the US.
