Job summary

Vizient seeks a VP, Integrated Supply Chain to deliver a fully aligned cross-functional model spanning sourcing, value analysis, analytics, inventory, and operations for complex health systems and IDNs.

The role requires influencing without direct authority, leading through matrix structures, and driving cost, quality, and service improvements while growing Vizient’s integrated delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree desired.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare supply chain.
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-site environments.
• Demonstrated success operating in highly matrixed organizations.
• Strong track record delivering measurable financial and operational results.
• Experience working with executive-level stakeholders in health systems.
• Ability to travel regularly to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior leader accountable for performance, execution, and client value delivery across assigned client engagements.
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships, advising on supply chain transformation and performance improvement.
• Align client stakeholders, on-site teams, and Vizient leaders to a unified operating model.
• Shape long-term supply chain strategies and transformation roadmaps beyond operational excellence.
• Lead cross-functional delivery and drive savings initiatives and process improvements.
• Establish governance structures, KPIs, dashboards, and routines for accountability.
• Identify opportunities to expand scope and deepen client partnerships; support business development.
• Drive alignment and results across matrixed teams without direct authority.
