Vice President – Institutional Equity Sales

Location(s): 640 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Summary:

Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., a member of Osaic, is seeking a Vice President, Institutional Equity Sales. The chosen candidate will become a key member of Ladenburg’s Institutional Sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and qualifying institutional investors (mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds, family offices) to market firm’s equity transactions.
  • Offer corporate access to investors.
  • Booking roadshows.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and client prospects on equity markets and firm research.
  • Required to comply with applicable regulation, conduct rules, internal policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to spend time traveling and socializing with clients.
  • IT skills, including all standard Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to foster relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Institutional Sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Series 7, 63 licensed.
