Job summary

Dunaway is a multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting firm seeking a Vice President to lead a business unit in Midland, TX. The role focuses on strategic direction, financial performance, and exceptional client service across infrastructure and public improvement projects.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff allocation, team development, and building partnerships with public agencies and healthcare/higher education clients. Hybrid work available; PE license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall performance, growth, and profitability of the assigned business unit.
• Implement budgets, policies, strategies, and goals that support organizational excellence.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and cost management.
• Ensure effective allocation of staff and resources to support objectives and client commitments.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, community stakeholders, public agencies, and industry partners.
• Ensure exceptional client service and successful delivery of infrastructure and public improvement projects.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and company growth.
• Identify market opportunities and business development initiatives across sectors.
