Individuals in this role are responsible for assessing outcomes from activities and processes to ensure conformance with requirements, thereby strengthening risk management quality. This includes developing and executing monitoring and testing strategies for controls, such as control design assessments and operational effectiveness evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Support assessment of activities and processes according to Policies, Standards, and Procedures to enhance risk management.
• Conduct routine testing of internal activities to ensure quality standards and identify risks or non-compliance.
• Review stakeholder feedback and respond to quality assurance issues promptly.
• Develop and implement monitoring and testing for controls, including control design and operational effectiveness assessments.
• Report on quality outcomes and control effectiveness to management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest QA testing tools and strategies.
• Understand Citi's Risk & Control Framework and fundamental risk concepts.
• Participate in control design reviews and monitoring activities, escalate issues, and support risk mitigation efforts.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in operational risk, compliance, audit, or related control functions in financial services.
• Proficiency in risk and control identification, measurement, and management.
• Strong knowledge of control development and implementation.
• Experience with sustainable process improvements.
• Understanding of compliance laws and Citi policies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Education

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
