Job summary

Synchrony seeks an AVP, Home Specialty & Flooring Analytics to provide strategic insights and a decision framework to drive profitable growth across HI, HVAC, and Flooring industries. You will partner cross-functionally to deliver analytics on P&L, channel strategy, customer behavior, and campaign measurement.

The role includes leading data integration, testing, portfolio diagnostics, mentoring offshore analysts, and presenting actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years analytics experience in financial services/payments.
• 2+ years leading large-scale analytics projects.
• 2+ years client-facing with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Credit, Sales).
• 2+ years using SAS, SQL, R, Python.
• 2+ years using Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Own HI/HVAC industry-level analytics for Home Specialty portfolio and deliver end-to-end work.
• Lead data integration, partnership testing and cross-sell opportunities; report on Integrators/Aggregators.
• Mentor offshore analysts to ensure high-quality insights and execution.
• Develop business cases, test designs, and action plans for strategy and targeting.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Establish test-and-learn culture and guide campaigns to optimize portfolio performance.
• Communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences.
• Automate data visualization to track KPI trajectories and forecast performance.
