Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an AVP to lead Home Specialty & Flooring Analytics, providing strategic insights and a decision framework for growth. You will partner across teams to drive P&L performance, channel strategy, and campaign optimization, with a focus on data-driven recommendations and portfolio diagnostics.

The role requires client-facing interaction, strong communication, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 7+ years of analytics experience in financial services or payments.
• Minimum 3+ years leading large analytics projects and client-facing work with cross-functional partners.
• Proficiency in SAS/SQL/R/Python and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Own HI/HVAC industry analytics for key clients and deliver end-to-end insights.
• Lead data integration, testing, cross-sell opportunities, and reporting needs.
• Mentor offshore analysts to ensure high-quality execution and business impact.
• Develop business cases, test designs, and actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
• Communicate insights clearly to diverse stakeholders and drive portfolio optimization.
