Job summary

Synchrony in San Francisco seeks an AVP of Home Specialty & Flooring Analytics to drive strategic insights across HI, HVAC, and Flooring portfolios. Lead end-to-end analytics, partner with Marketing, Credit, and Sales, and mentor offshore teams to deliver data-driven growth and profitable outcomes.

The role emphasizes measurement, forecasting, and portfolio diagnostics, with client-facing responsibilities and opportunities to influence cross-sell initiatives and new account acquisition through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years analytics experience in financial services, credit card and/or payments.
• 2+ years leading large-scale analytics projects.
• 2+ years client facing experience with cross functional partners such as Marketing, Credit, and Sales.
• 2+ years experience using analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, R, and/or Python.
• 2+ years using a data visualization tool such as Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Own HI/HVAC Industry-level subset of clients within the Home Specialty portfolio from an analytics perspective.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to lead data integration, testing, cross-sell opportunities, and reporting needs.
• Mentor offshore analysts to ensure high-quality insights and delivery of analytics to drive growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned; provide strategic analytics consulting for new dealer relationships.
• Develop business case presentations and action plans to drive strategy and test designs.
• Communicate analysis and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences.
• Implement and automate data visualization tools to measure portfolio performance.
