Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking an experienced facilities leader to oversee operations for all owned and leased properties across the network, including hospitals and medical office buildings. The role calls for strategic direction of utilities, plant operations, and maintenance with focus on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree and substantial healthcare facilities management experience, with CHFM or PE preferred, and demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 8 years of healthcare management experience.
• Or Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of healthcare management experience.
• Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) or Professional Licensure (PE).
• Extensive knowledge of facility, safety, and hazardous materials Codes and Standards.
• Extensive budgeting, cost analysis, manpower planning, supervision, and operational analysis.
• Experience with hospital building operations, capital planning and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations for all owned and leased properties within The MetroHealth System.
• Provide leadership for facilities management, utilities, building repair, plant operations and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and accreditation readiness.
• Collaborate with system leaders to support patient-centric service delivery.
• Report operational issues to senior leadership and manage project budgets.
