Job summary

Astrion in Arlington, VA, is seeking an onsite Vice President, Business Development & Campaign Lead to drive the growth campaign for the Critical Infrastructure mission area. You will shape multi-year strategies across Transportation Infrastructure, Energy Infrastructure, and DIB Infrastructure and move Astrion toward repeatable, technology-enabled Mission Solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
15+ years in business development, capture, or growth leadership in federal infrastructure markets.
Proven ability to build and manage large, multi-year pipelines and win competitive pursuits.
Experience developing growth strategies beyond incumbent protection or recompete.
Familiarity with FAA/DOT, DHS/TSA/CISA/CBP, DOE/NNSA, NRC, DoD infrastructure, DIB Infrastructure, utilities, or rail/transit.
Ability to position differentiated Mission Solutions and tech-enabled offerings, not just labor-based services.
Experience with partner-led growth, teaming strategies, or channel development.
Understanding of systems engineering, OT/ICS, digital twins, and mission assurance.
Strong executive presence and cross-functional collaboration across leadership.
US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute growth campaigns across Transportation, Energy, and DIB Infrastructure.
Own 12–36 month qualified pipeline development with plans, capture priorities, and partner strategies.
Protect and expand FAA and NRC business while opening new growth lanes in key agencies and sectors.
Shape opportunities to move Astrion toward repeatable Mission Solutions and technology-enabled outcomes.
Package offerings such as Mission Evidence Packs, Digital Twins, OT/ICS Assessments, and readiness solutions.
Lead executive customer engagement, competitive positioning, and pursuit strategy for priority opportunities.
Collaborate with Growth, Operations, Solutions, Finance, Contracts, and M&A to identify growth options.
