Sitreps LLC seeks a Vice President to lead Government Affairs & Programs in the Washington, DC area. The role focuses on securing non-dilutive federal funding and translating legislative wins into funded programs for a defense technology company.

The senior executive will manage relationships with OSD, military services, and industry partners to establish funding streams, contract vehicles, and program offices. Expect a high-impact, strategic leadership position with equity consideration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in OSD or military service acquisition, as Congressional staff, or leading government business for a defense technology company.
• Proven track record of securing non-dilutive funding or starting a funded program.
• Deep familiarity with industrial base policy and the offices behind it (OSD, IBAS, Title III).

Responsabilités

• Lead federal financing from application through closing, drawdown, and SBIR progression from Phase I to III.
• Turn authorizing language into funded programs with DoD and services.
• Stand up an IDIQ, OTA, or comparable vehicle for quick procurement.
• Direct government relations firms, consultants, and advisors to execute the growth plan.
• Build and lead a team to scale capture and proposals as volumes grow.
