Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a visionary Vice President of Global Supply Chain to lead the El Segundo-based supply chain, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery of high-quality components.

You will oversee procurement, subcontracts, supplier management, material/demand planning, and end-to-end logistics, while building a high-performing team and partnering across functions to scale manufacturing and meet ramp-to-rate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain/procurement in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience in leadership roles building and scaling teams.
• This position requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Align supply chain vision with corporate strategy and long-term growth objectives.
• Lead the transformation and scaling of the supply base to meet Ramp to Rate manufacturing goals.
• Advocate for tools, personnel, and budget required for operational excellence.
• Establish long-term agreements to ensure price stability and supply continuity.
• Mitigate risk by identifying and resolving single-point failures in the supply chain.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to integrate supply chain solutions into product design and production ramps.
