Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, is seeking a Vice President of Global Supply Chain to lead Millennium’s supply chain organization in El Segundo, CA. You will align strategy with corporate goals and oversee procurement, planning, logistics, and supplier management.

Reporting to the CEO, you will build a high-performing team, secure tools and budget, and design scalable processes to deliver cost, quality, and delivery performance across global partners while balancing schedule and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, engineering
• 12+ years in aerospace/defense/procurement
• 5+ years in leadership roles building and scaling teams
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain US security clearance

Responsibilities

• Align supply chain vision with corporate strategy
• Scale supply base to meet Ramp to Rate goals
• Secure tools, personnel, and budget for operational excellence
• Establish long-term agreements for price stability
• Mitigate supply chain single-point failures
• Provide cost estimates and verify supplier capabilities
• Oversee procurement, demand planning, and inventory
• Define KPIs to track supply chain health
• Improve shipping/receiving and reduce bottlenecks
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to integrate supply chain solutions
