Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Manager of Production Engineering to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, driving design for manufacturability and continuous improvement to deliver space-grade structures, propulsion hardware, and electrical components at high rate and low cost, without compromising safety or reliability.

You will be the advocate for your team and SME between production and design, developing growth for team members and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• At least one year in a leadership role or completing Boeing leadership course.
• 3+ years in wire harness design, installation, or equipment installation.
• Ability to communicate with technical personnel across disciplines.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in Production Engineering.
• Develop and execute project and process plans, policies, procedures, and goals.
• Acquire resources for projects and provide technical management of suppliers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and reports.
• Oversee and approve technical approaches, products, and processes.
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to enable floor build and assembly.
