Job summary

Barnes Aerospace is seeking a seasoned senior leader to head Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement across its global manufacturing and aftermarket operations.

The Vice President, Global Operating System will partner with business unit leaders, site operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to standardize processes, performance management, and improvement strategies that boost safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability across Barnes Aerospace’s global

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CI across global aerospace manufacturing and MRO environments.
• Strong change-management and executive leadership to drive scalable operating models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management across a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead global operational excellence and CI programs across OEM and MRO sites.
• Standardize global operating procedures and performance standards for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Drive SIOP standardization and manufacturing planning to improve service levels and throughput.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions leveraging capacity and capability.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or related discipline

MBA or advanced degree preferred. Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
