Qualifications

• 8+ years in operations or manufacturing, with 5+ in people management.
• Lean manufacturing expertise with proven implementation experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and change-management skills.
• Aerospace or related industries experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day and strategic production activities at the East Granby site.
• Manages production and maintenance supervisors to meet site goals.
• Champion Lean (Kaizen/6S) to increase manufacturing efficiency.
• Oversees internal and external supply chain to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Coaches supervision and staff to promote growth and development of the operations team.
• Tracks daily performance and implements countermeasures for missed targets.
• Supports new process/product development and implementation.
• Fosters an operational excellence culture with employee involvement in Kaizen activities.
