Job summary

U.S. Dairy Export Council in Arlington, VA, seeks a Vice President, Global Market Insights to lead analysis of U.S. and global dairy market trends and provide economic insight for research, marketing programs, policy engagement, and export initiatives.

This role requires turning large data volumes into actionable insights, collaborating across teams, and international travel as needed. The position reports to the SVP of Global Economic Affairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; master's degree highly preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in dairy, international trade, risk management, or another analytical field.
• Familiarity with U.S. dairy trade preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze U.S. and global dairy markets using data and industry contacts to understand drivers, trends, and outlook.
• Compile, interpret, and present global market information and forecasts in reports and presentations.
• Support publication of USDEC market intelligence reports (US Trade Data Report, International Demand Analysis).
• Present global dairy outlooks to stakeholders domestically and abroad.
• Build and maintain relationships with U.S. dairy staff, international customers, and allied organizations to enhance market knowledge.
