Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a data oversight professional to join the FCC Data Oversight team. You will unify monitoring, issue resolution, control optimization and analytics while building tools to automate this work.

Leveraging 5+ years in Financial Crimes Compliance with data governance, you will collaborate across technology, operations and business units to ensure data integrity and effective risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in an analytical role in Financial Crimes Compliance with data governance/analytics.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering/Technology with relevant work experience.
• Experience with Data Lake, Tableau/QlikSense/QlikView, Excel pivots, VLOOKUPs and similar analytics tools.
• Ability to map data across platforms and work on complex data models.
• Strong organization and project management skills with independent work ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze and document business requirements and functional specs.
• Data sourcing, analysis and identification of data requirements.
• Assist in AML risk analytics to identify gaps and improve data reporting ecosystems.
• Track projects and ensure timely execution.
• Develop and implement new tools using partner feedback to strengthen controls.
• Conduct investigative reviews of FCC controls and related controls with stakeholders.
• Document artifacts and surface real-time insights showing trends and risks.
