Job summary

The International Rescue Committee seeks a Vice President of Breakthrough Partnerships and Foundations based on the West Coast, with primary responsibility for building a $100M+ donor pipeline and leading the Foundations & Trusts team.

You'll design tailored asks, translate program impact for major philanthropists, and collaborate with the COO, President, and philanthropy leadership to scale fundraising and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 15+ years of fundraising or related experience closing large partnerships.
• Proven track record of securing multi-million dollar gifts.

Responsibilities

• Build the Breakthrough Partnerships pipeline with 100M+ commitments.
• Design tailored asks and articulate program depth to major donors.
• Lead Foundations & Trusts team and collaborate across IRC leadership.
• Shape Campaign 2033 strategy and donor engagement across functions.
