Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Vice President, Geotechnical Engineer to lead the CGEM team and advance ground engineering projects across multiple markets.

You will drive client engagement, mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure technical excellence and safety standards. The role requires a PE license in GA or eligibility within six months, 12+ years post-education experience, and a Master’s/Doctorate in Geotechnical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of post-education experience.
• Georgia professional engineer license or ability to become licensed within six months.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, QA/QC, and project deliverables.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and expertise for the CGEM geotechnical team.
• Develop and retain a client base and pursue new business in the southeast.
• Lead geotechnical projects across power, commercial, transportation, and water markets.
• Mentor staff and provide performance guidance to team members.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC, and compliance with codes and policies.
