Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President to lead the establishment of the Financing Solutions Front Office Trading Services team. You will drive automation, process improvements, risk controls, and AI adoption while partnering with senior leaders to design a scalable support model.

The role emphasizes governance, documentation, training, and executive communication across Front Office to Operations and Technology, with responsibility for a North America FOTS launch and a global rollout strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years of experience within financial services, capital markets, foreign exchange, securities finance, secured financing, prime services, agency lending, trading support, middle office, front‑office operations with leadership responsibility.
• Experience establishing or transforming front‑office‑aligned support teams, operating models, or control frameworks in a regulated financial‑services environment.
• Strong program execution skills, including delivery planning, governance, dependency management, risk and issue tracking, executive reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rapid stand‑up of the North America Financing Solutions FOTS team, defining target operating model, organizational structure, implementation plan, and transition priorities.
• Define and document roles, responsibilities, ownership, decision rights, coverage, escalation, and handoffs across FOTS and partner functions.
• Establish a comprehensive delivery plan and governance cadence; track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and actions.
• Develop executive-level materials, including implementation updates, governance reporting, status dashboards, and risk/issue summaries.
• Design and document the risk and control framework for the new support model, ensuring regulatory alignment.
• Map the end‑to‑end Financing Solutions ecosystem from Front Office through Operations and Technology.
• Identify applications, system roles, data access, and entitlements for FOTS FS users.
• Create operating procedures, process maps, control documentation, training materials, and readiness checklists.
• Coordinate functional migrations from Front Office to FOTS, including scope validation, testing, training, and post-transition stabilization.
