Job summary

GIC is seeking a Production Support Engineer (SRE) to be at the heart of Front Office operations. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across Portfolio Management, OMS/EMS, and research platforms, collaborating with teams across regions.

The role calls for leadership in change management, automation, and documenting runbooks. You will work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, applying cloud and container skills, AI tooling, and observability to ensure continuous resilience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years hands-on experience in production/application support, SRE, or system administration—ideally Front Office/trading platforms.
• Self-starter who takes ownership and thrives under pressure.
• Outstanding coordination and communication skills bridging technical and Front Office teams.
• Team-oriented with independence and accountability.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on L1/L2 Front Office support in a follow-the-sun model with Singapore.
• Own production monitoring, health, stability, and performance using observability tools.
• Lead incident management from triage to resolution with minimal business impact.
