Citi is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer (VP) to lead the design and delivery of scalable, accessible web applications using Angular and modern UI tech. You will mentor teams, define frontend standards, and partner with AI and backend groups to build intelligent operations dashboards.

The role emphasizes leadership, cloud deployments, and a hybrid work model with strong focus on performance, security, and customer experience across global markets.

Qualifications

• Mastery of Angular (6+), TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and modern build tools (Webpack, Angular CLI).
• UI/UX & Performance: web performance optimization, lazy loading, responsive design, WCAG compliance.
• Micro-Frontends: architecture and API integration (RESTful, WebSockets, GraphQL).
• Containerization & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployments.
• Leadership: lead UI design initiatives and collaborate with product and AI teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of highly responsive, accessible web apps using Angular and modern UI tech.
• Collaborate with AI and backend teams to build intuitive interfaces for AI-enabled operations dashboards.
• Set technical direction for front-end engineering, establish standards and testing frameworks.
• Work with DevOps/platform teams to deploy UI apps in Docker/Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Design interfaces that simplify complex financial data and workflows with security in mind.
