Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced web applications within the AI Automation Forward Deployed Engineering team. You will set front-end standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate across AI and backend groups to deliver scalable interfaces.

You will work with Angular (latest), TypeScript, and modern UI tools, ensuring performance, accessibility, and security across financial workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading UI design initiatives and collaborating with product and AI teams.
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, security, and enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of Angular-based web applications.
• Collaborate with AI and backend teams to build intuitive interfaces for complex workflows.
• Establish front-end technical direction, standards, and robust testing (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress).
• Work with DevOps to deploy UI apps inDocker/Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Design interfaces that simplify financial data and ensure security compliance.
