Job summary

JPMorganChase is hiring a Data Scientist-Fraud Strategy-Vice President within the Payments organization. You will shape and execute fraud risk strategies, lead complex, cross-functional projects, and deliver data-driven solutions to protect customers and assets.

You will drive insights into fraud trends, oversee performance metrics across the account lifecycle, and present findings to senior leadership while collaborating with underwriting, portfolio management, and collections teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Fraud Strategy, analytics, or a quantitative discipline.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects independently and manage priorities.
• Experience driving conversations and consensus across functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics to provide senior management with insights on fraud trends and account quality.
• Oversee KPI analysis and profitability drivers across the account lifecycle with actionable recommendations.
• Understand underwriting, portfolio management, and collections to address fraud drivers.
• Direct cross-functional projects from analysis through implementation and monitoring.
• Drive strategic conversations with stakeholders and represent the Fraud Strategy team.
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
