Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President in Fraud Strategy to generate insightful analytics and advise on strategy, controls, and performance monitoring. You will analyze root causes, design end-to-end risk solutions, and balance risk with revenue and customer impact.

You will collaborate with product, technology, and operations to implement new detection capabilities and mentor the team, shaping risk management practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• MS degree and 5+ years (or BS degree and 7+ years) of experience in risk management/data analytics.
• Excellent collaboration and partnership skills with internal teams and external partners.
• Strategic thinking to develop roadmaps and balance short-term vs long-term solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance 1st party card Fraud strategy to balance fraud mitigation with financial performance and customer experience.
• Monitor fraud trends and customer frictions to identify improvement opportunities.
• Leverage internal/external data and analytics to improve fraud detection.
• Partner with product, technology, and operations to develop capabilities and test solutions before/after implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage best practices and ensure compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and adopt best practices.
• Deliver concise oral and written communications with stakeholders at different levels.
• Manage multiple priorities and deliver results under deadlines.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching and feedback.
