Job summary

JPMorganChase in Chicago seeks a Vice President for FP&A in the Commercial & Investment Bank unit to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for the Subsidiary Banking segment.

You will own month-end close, variance analysis, and executive reporting, partnering with business heads and CFOs to drive profitability and strategic direction.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx and Tableau, plus 7+ years in financial services, is required for this high-visibility role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a technical field.
• 7+ years of work experience in Financial Services and/or accounting/controller.
• Strong storytelling and executive-level presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large data sets.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in Alteryx and Tableau.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Integrity with handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis pertaining to global subsidiary banking.
• Developing and tracking performance metrics, creating presentations, and providing financial analysis to senior management.
• Creating financial business cases supporting business initiatives.
• Oversight of the month-end close, forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future years.
• Efficiency reporting, analytics and strategy including location strategy and reporting.
• Performing variance analysis and presenting commentary to Business heads.
• Helping design new reports and dashboards and enhancing controls with automation tools like Alteryx and Python.
