Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York is seeking a Vice President in the CB Finance team to lead segment analytics, reporting, and budgeting across CB regions and products.

You will partner with Segment Heads, Industry Managers, and leadership to drive the strategic vision with data-driven insights. This role requires strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting skills, plus the ability to present complex findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• 7+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Finance, Planning & Analysis and/or Accounting.
• Experience in corporate financial analytics with an understanding of a Bank’s balance sheet, P&L and key drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dialogue with Segment Heads, Industry Managers, and senior stakeholders across the Commercial Bank to deliver actionable insights on segment performance, client trends, and forward-looking outlook.
• Develop and present clear, decision-oriented financial analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) tailored to segment/industries; support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc requests as need
• Prepare presentation materials and financial analytics for financial reporting meetings, quarterly business reviews, and budget
• Create, maintain and review financial models and analyses (both recurring and ad-hoc)
• Conduct deep dive analyses on key issues impacting clients/business to determine root cause and propose solutions
• Partner with Business Management and Analytics and Reporting teams to develop insightful reporting, focusing on drivers, and the “so what, now what?” dialogue
• Drive value-add change by helping to simplify processes, accelerate automation, and enhance analytics and business support
