Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Services and/or an accounting/controller role.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in data mining, gathering, and manipulating large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to synthesize conclusions concisely.
• Inquisitive, enthusiastic, diligent, and comfortable constructively challenging peers.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to clearly explain complex issues.
• Ability to produce ad hoc reporting for senior management.
• Proven track record executing special projects/assignments with limited lead time or information.
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization.
• Team-oriented partner trusted by Business, Finance, and FP&A teams; performs well under pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Managing annual/continual financial planning activities for product areas, providing business rationale and decisions for all month-end financial performance and forecasting.
• Efficiency reporting, analytics and strategy, including location strategy, span of control, reporting and analytics.
• Creating financial business cases supporting business initiatives.
• Reporting on and monitoring key metrics, driving data quality initiatives across the product area.
• Developing and tracking performance metrics, creating presentations, and providing financial analysis to senior management.
• Performing variance analysis to explain drivers and changes from forecasts.
• Helping design new reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Enhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible.
