Job summary

Western Union is seeking a strategic VP to lead Financial & Regulatory Reporting, Consolidations & Governance in Atlanta. You will oversee SEC filings, earnings communications, and regulatory reporting, while driving consolidation, currency translation, and governance processes.

You will manage a high-performing team, partner with auditors and regulators, and ensure adherence to US GAAP and SOX across global operations. A CPA and 10+ years in related roles are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Active CPA and 10+ years in SEC reporting/technical accounting.
• Bachelor’s in accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules, and SOX.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, Proxy).
• Direct monthly close, consolidations, foreign currency translation, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage external audits and SOX certifications; provide Audit Committee materials.
• Oversee accounting areas: investments, debt, stock compensation, employee benefits, cap software, intercompany.
