Job summary

CRG Search is seeking a Vice President of Finance Shared Services to lead a major transformation of its finance operations across credit/collections, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting. The role reports to the SVP, Chief Accounting Officer and focuses on building a scalable, technology-enabled operating model.

The successful candidate will drive process improvement, automation, and organizational change, partnering with auditors and leadership to deliver a future-state operating model

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in finance operations, shared services, or finance transformation in a large, multi-entity organization.
• Experience leading or overseeing transactional finance functions including credit and collections, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.
• Track record of leading large-scale process improvement, automation, and organizational transformation from strategy through implementation.
• Experience designing and implementing future-state operating models including organizational design and workforce transition planning.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and a SOX controls environment, including fixed asset accounting policy.
• Technology-fluent with ERP systems, workflow automation, and reporting/analytics platforms to strengthen controls and increase automation.
• Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills to influence senior executives.
• Change management and program/project management skills (Prosci, PMP, Lean/Six Sigma) are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shared services operations for credit and collections, accounts payable, and fixed asset transactional accounting with emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, controls, and customer service.
• Establish and maintain service governance with KPIs, SLAs, dashboards, escalation protocols, and accountability across stakeholders.
• Ensure activities comply with US GAAP and SOX controls, maintaining strong internal controls and proper segregation of duties.
• Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure process documentation, audit readiness, and remediation of issues.
• Build a high-performing shared services team with a culture of accuracy, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
