Prairie Operating Employee Co., LLC is seeking a Vice President of Finance (Oil & Gas) in Denver. This executive will lead planning, budgeting, treasury, hedging, M&A, and capital markets activities, shaping financial strategy and reporting to support growth.

A strong background in upstream oil & gas accounting and advanced modeling is essential. The role requires collaboration across Finance, Development, and Operations, with a focus on real-time decision making and Board-ready presentations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• MBA preferred for strategic leadership.
• At least 10 years of oil and gas accounting experience.
• Strong upstream oil and gas domain knowledge.
• Advanced financial modeling experience in oil & gas.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Development, Operations, Land and Legal to align financial goals with business strategy.
• Develop models to forecast market scenarios, risks and business changes.
• Own NAV model for M&A, hedging, and capital markets considerations.
• Partner with Corporate Development on FP&A and monthly forward-looking forecasts.
• Improve internal financial processes for timely reporting to Board and executives.
• Prepare presentations for Senior Management and external parties.
• Maintain relationships with investment bankers and lenders.
• Assist accounting aspects of acquisitions and divestitures.
