Job summary

Devon Energy is seeking a Production Accounting Lead to support the PRA cycle and oversee a team of accounting professionals. The role emphasizes accuracy in recording volumes and regulatory filings, with collaboration across Field, Regulatory, and Measurement teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 4 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in SAP PRA and ProdView preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of related accounting experience; industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of PRA Accountants and mentor new staff.
• Record and account for all transactions in the oil and gas production cycle.
• Collaborate with Field Personnel, Regulatory, and Measurement teams and leaders.
• Coordinate with Revenue, Accruals, and Compliance functions.
• Analyze monthly variances on volumes and communicate impacts to operations teams.
