Finatal, a fast-growing asset rental business, is seeking a VP Finance to lead the finance function and partner with ownership on strategic decision-making. You will build FP&A, oversee accounting, manage lenders, and drive KPI/BI reporting as the company scales.
You will own cash flow forecasting, capital deployment, and asset-based analytics, shaping pricing and returns while upgrading systems and controls in a high-growth environment.
Finatal is partnering with a fast-growing, sponsor-backed asset rental business to appoint a VP Finance as its first dedicated senior finance executive.
The company operates a highly profitable, capital-intensive rental model, acquiring specialized assets and renting them to a diversified base of high-quality commercial customers. The business has scaled rapidly since launch, generating significant recurring cash flow with demand continuing to outpace the availability of new assets.
With substantial investment planned over the coming years, the business is entering its next phase of growth. The focus will be on significantly expanding the asset base while building the financial infrastructure, reporting and analytical capabilities required to support a much larger and increasingly complex organization.
Working closely with ownership and the leadership team, the VP Finance will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function. This is a highly hands-on role spanning FP&A, accounting oversight, lender management, systems, reporting and the financial analysis of the company's asset base.
A major focus will be developing the financial and operational insight required to optimize asset utilization, pricing, returns and capital deployment. The VP Finance will partner closely with commercial and operational leadership to understand unit economics and ensure capital is deployed into the highest-return opportunities.
The role will also play a central part in developing the company's finance infrastructure as it scales, including upgrading systems, building KPI and BI reporting, strengthening controls and determining how the broader finance organization should be structured over time.
This is an opportunity to build and lead the finance function within a highly profitable, rapidly scaling asset rental business, with significant exposure to ownership and a clear path to the CFO position as the company grows.
