Job summary

Messiah Lifeways seeks a dynamic VP Finance & Controller to guide the organization’s financial strategy and operations. This executive role blends hands-on financial management with strategic insight, leveraging data analytics to drive performance and inform decision-making at the highest level.

The VP will serve on the Senior Leadership Team, partnering with VPs and C-suite executives to support decision-making, resource allocation, new ventures, and technology innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA licensure preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including strategic planning and analytics.
• Experience in nonprofit, multi-entity organizations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, budgeting, audit preparation, financial reporting, cash management, and compliance.
• Champion data analytics and BI tools to improve performance measurement and resource allocation.
• Provide clear, actionable insights to executives and the board through data visualization and storytelling.
• Lead and mentor the Finance team, fostering innovation, accountability, and growth.

This executive role blends hands-on financial management with strategic insight, leveraging data analytics to drive organizational performance and inform decision-making at the highest level.
