Harmer is assisting a growing, private investment organization in Miami to identify a VP of Finance & Accounting. This pivotal leadership role will own the accounting and finance function, spanning reporting, treasury, and controls, with broad visibility and autonomy.

You will partner with senior leadership to drive strategic financial decisions, manage complex investment-related accounting, and build a high-performing team to support aggressive growth plans.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred/required.
• 6-8+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong public accounting audit foundation.
• Experience in investment management or real estate is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls and processes.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on professional with strong communication and sound judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting and finance including financial reporting, treasury, cash management and internal controls.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight for strategic decisions.
• Manage corporate and investment accounting activities, including complex transactions.
• Oversee external reporting and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors and service providers.
• Lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and financial planning.
• Evaluate and implement accounting systems, policies, and process improvements.
• Build and develop the accounting and finance team to support growth.
