Job summary

Jetson is seeking a VP of Field Operations to lead field teams across Canada and the United States, ensuring safe, high-quality and profitable heat pump and EV charger installations at scale.

The role oversees General Managers, develops organizational structure, and drives performance, safety and cost control while expanding into new markets and maintaining exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field operations in residential HVAC, home services, solar or construction.
• 5+ years leading multi-branch or multi-market operations.
• Experience scaling field ops across dispersed locations.
• Proven track record managing budgets and branch P&Ls.
• Strong safety programs and regulatory compliance experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute field operations strategy to hit volume, quality and margin targets.
• Lead General Managers across branches to meet KPIs for installs, revenue, safety and costs.
• Define field organizational structure and build leadership bench.
• Own installation quality and first-time-right performance, reduce callbacks.
• Champion safety culture and oversee health & safety program.
• Ensure licensing, permitting and inspections in all jurisdictions.
• Drive crew productivity and capacity planning with in-house and subcontractor teams.
• Align scheduling and design with Customer Operations for smooth installs.
• Own field tech stack (Zuper) to improve dispatch and visibility.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding and training for field roles.
• Manage field operating budgets and branch P&Ls.
• Define, report and act on field KPIs for executive visibility.
