You will lead B2B communications for Commercial Solutions, elevating reputation and visibility while supporting other Auto units with strategic communications.

You will craft sophisticated messaging for top-tier business and trade publications, secure executive speaking opportunities, and manage risk in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, or public relations.
• Proven success advising senior executives and developing B2B communications strategies.
• Experience engaging consumer-facing and B2B or trade publications, with tailored messaging.
• Executive presence with ability to influence at senior levels.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and messaging skills.
• Experience managing reputational risk in a regulated industry.
• Comfort navigating complex, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to align communications with enterprise goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead external communications strategy for Commercial Solutions, aligning with enterprise priorities.
• Advise senior executives on positioning, media engagement, and reputational considerations.
• Develop proactive narratives highlighting innovation, partnerships, and product capabilities.
• Support media interviews, speaking engagements, and major announcements.
• Own media strategy and build relations with national, financial, automotive, consumer, and trade press.
• Anticipate and manage reputational risk with Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Communications.
• Translate complex financial topics into clear external messaging.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent firmwide messaging.
• Monitor industry trends and the media landscape to differentiate the business.
• Oversee external agency partners and measurement of program effectiveness.
