Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Vice President, Environmental Remediation Engineer to lead California-based environmental remediation programs across multiple offices (Oakland, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, Petaluma, San Jose, Fresno, Costa Mesa, and San Diego).

The role focuses on consulting, selling, designing, and implementing multi‑media remediation for industrial, government, energy, oil & gas, and transportation sectors.

Qualifications

• Requires California PE license and a degree in a related engineering field.
• 12+ years of environmental remediation and sales experience.
• Strong project management, leadership, and mentoring ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, and CalEPA programs.
• Ability to lead engineers and manage complex design-build projects.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop business with Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors for environmental remediation, engineering, and related services.
• Lead design, oversight, and mentoring of engineers at staff- and project-level.
• Assist preparation of technical reports and proposals.
• Collaborate with Service Line Leader, Sector Lead, Principal, and Senior-level employees.
• Manage multiple projects with deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
• Travel to project sites as needed for execution of project goals and business development.
• Achieve sales, revenue, and delivery goals.
