Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Enterprise Network Services team in a lead infrastructure role. You will deploy and support critical network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and campus environments, driving resilience and uptime for 24x7 operations.

The role emphasizes automation with Python, Ansible, Terraform, and GitHub, plus experience with BGP/OSPF, Leaf-Spine architectures, and production change management. A CCNP/CCIE or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on with cloud observability and cloud-native tools.
• Proven experience patching and upgrading production networks.
• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry certifications.
• Knowledge of Leaf-Spine architectures and data-center networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 escalation support for day-to-day issues and incidents.
• Provide weekend technical and escalation support for break-fix activities and maintenance.
• Implement and support enterprise-scale network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, campus and branch environments.
• Provide Tier-3 leadership during major incidents and escalations.
• Maintain network standards, documentation and procedures.
