Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Enterprise Network Services team in New York. You will deploy and support critical network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and campus environments, while providing Tier-3 leadership during major incidents.

You will drive security patching, changes, and automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and related tools, ensuring 24x7 reliability for global business services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Proven experience patching and upgrading production networks at scale.
• Experience supporting internal infrastructure and internet-facing services.
• Experience in financial services, trading, telecom, or other mission-critical environments.
• Ability to perform complex maintenance during scheduled windows.
• Strong understanding of network resiliency, high availability, and DR principles.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support enterprise-scale network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and campus environments.
• Provide Tier-3 support and technical leadership during major incidents and escalations.
• Develop and maintain network standards, update documentation, and engineering procedures.
• Lead planning, testing, risk assessment, and deployment of critical security and infrastructure patches.
• Drive execution of maintenance activities with minimal customer or business impact.
• Coordinate maintenance windows, rollback plans, and post-implementation reviews.
• Ensure security, audit, and regulatory requirements through remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Applications, and Operations teams on remediation efforts.
