Job summary

Morgan Stanley in New York is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join the Enterprise Network Services team. This role leads deployment and support of critical network infrastructure across internal enterprise environments and customer-facing platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of enterprise network experience, hands-on expertise with leaf-spine, BGP/OSPF, cloud observability, and automation (Ansible, Python, Terraform).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud observability tools and cloud-native tooling.
• Leaf-Spine architectures across Cisco and Arista platforms.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Python, Terraform, GitHub and Jira; knowledge of BGP/OSPF protocols.
• Proven experience executing critical security patching and production network upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 escalation support for day-to-day network issues and incidents.
• Support weekend maintenance and network break-fix activities.
• Deploy and support enterprise-scale network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, campus and branch environments.
• Lead during major incidents with Tier-3 expertise and technical leadership.
• Develop and maintain network standards, documentation, and procedures.
